Getting Started

Dashboard Overview

After logging in, you land on the Vilulia dashboard — your central view of all active cases, recent activity, and platform notifications. The dashboard is personalized by role: mediators see their assigned mediation cases, arbitrators see their arbitration cases, and admins see all cases across the organization.

What you'll learn

  • What appears on the dashboard by role
  • How to navigate to cases, settings, and team management
  • How the onboarding checklist guides new users
  • Where to find the demo case created at signup

Dashboard sections

The main dashboard includes:

  • KPI cards — at-a-glance counts for Active Cases, Settled Cases, Closed Cases, and Settlement Rate.
  • Priority Cases — up to five of your most urgent active cases, sorted by priority. Click any case to open it.
  • Recent activity — a feed of the latest actions across your cases: new messages, document uploads, settlement updates, and e-signature events.
  • Today's Schedule — upcoming calendar events for the day.
  • Notifications — case assignments, pending actions, and integration events such as signed documents or calendar updates appear under the bell icon in the top bar, not as a separate dashboard panel.
  • Navigation— a left sidebar tailored to your role. Viewers, case managers, and admins see a Cases link; mediators and arbitrators see it labeled My Cases. Everyone gets Dashboard and Documents, and most roles also get Calendar. Admins additionally see Analytics and Reports, plus grouped sections for Organization (Team Members), Subscription (Billing, Features & Add-Ons), and Premium Features such as HIPAA Compliance when those add-ons are enabled.

Onboarding checklist

New accounts are guided through a five-step onboarding wizard: a welcome screen, completing your profile, creating your first case, inviting a team member, and exploring a key feature. The wizard tracks your progress and sends you to the dashboard once you complete or skip the steps.

Demo case

When you first activate your account, Vilulia automatically creates a demo case (case number DEMO-001: Smith vs. Acme Corporation, employment dispute) so you can explore the platform without needing to set up a real case first. You can edit or delete the demo case at any time.
