Contract Lifecycle

The Contract Lifecycle add-on ($75/month + 2.5% transaction fee) adds version control, renewal alerts, amendment history, and Stripe Connect payment collection to dispute-related contracts. Contracts can be linked directly to case files. The 2.5% transaction fee applies to settlement payments collected through Stripe Connect.

Version control and amendment history

Each contract record in Vilulia tracks all versions of the document. When an amendment is made, the previous version is preserved and the amendment is recorded with a timestamp. The full amendment history is available from the contract record, giving all parties a clear audit trail of how the agreement evolved.

Renewal alerts

Contracts can be configured with a renewal date. Vilulia sends reminders before the renewal date to ensure that no contracts lapse without review. Reminders are delivered to the designated contact within the organization.

Case file linking

Contracts can be linked directly to a case record so that all relevant agreements — mediation agreements, retainer agreements, NDAs — are accessible from within the case. Linked contracts appear in the case's document view.

Stripe Connect payment collection

The Contract Lifecycle add-on includes Stripe Connect integration for collecting settlement payments from parties. A 2.5% transaction fee applies to all payments collected through this integration. The transaction fee percentage is admin-configurable. Escrow hold and release is managed by Stripe Connect and triggered by signing events from DocuSign.

Enabling Contract Lifecycle

Contract Lifecycle is available as an add-on on all plan tiers. To enable it, go to Settings → Features & Add-Ons and add Contract Lifecycle. Note that payment collection features require Stripe Connect to be configured for your organization. Stripe Connect is provisioned during onboarding — contact support to enable it.
