Integrations and Add-Ons

Conflict Navigator

Conflict Navigator is a pre-case intake and triage add-on. Organizations embed a portal link into their HR site, intranet, or employee handbook. Anonymous respondents describe their situation through a guided conversation, and the Navigator asks targeted follow-up questions to recommend the most appropriate resolution pathway. No account is required for respondents.

What you'll learn

  • How the Navigator works from the respondent's perspective
  • How to configure and launch a Navigator portal
  • Which pathways the Navigator can recommend
  • How sessions convert to Vilulia cases
  • Pricing and usage tracking

How it works

  1. An admin configures the Navigator: welcome message, available pathways, session limits, branding, and an optional access code.
  2. The organization distributes the portal link. Respondents open it in any browser with no login or account creation required.
  3. The respondent describes their situation. The Navigator asks targeted follow-up questions to gather relevant context.
  4. Based on the conversation, the Navigator recommends one of the configured resolution pathways (see below).
  5. A professional intake summary is generated and stored. If the recommended pathway is mediation or arbitration and case auto-creation is enabled, a Vilulia case is opened automatically.

Resolution pathways

Admins select which pathways are available for their organization. The Navigator will only recommend pathways that have been enabled. Available pathways are:

  • Self-resolution: guidance for handling the situation independently
  • Manager discussion: recommended when a direct conversation is appropriate
  • HR engagement: routes to internal HR resources or contacts
  • Mediation: structured third-party facilitation
  • Arbitration: binding third-party adjudication
  • Formal complaint: initiates a formal internal complaint process

Case auto-creation

When the Navigator recommends mediation or arbitration, it can automatically open a case in Vilulia. This is configured per portal. You can also require a human review step before the case is created. The intake summary generated during the session is attached to the case as the initial filing document.

Admin configuration

Go to Settings → Add-Ons → Conflict Navigator to create and manage portals. Each portal has its own configuration:

  • Welcome message: displayed at the start of each session
  • System prompt override: customize the Navigator's persona and focus area
  • Max exchanges per session: default is 8, adjustable per portal
  • Available pathways: enable only the pathways relevant to your organization
  • Case creation settings: auto-create cases, require review, or disable entirely
  • Branding: upload a logo and set primary/accent colors to match your organization
  • Access code: require a passcode to restrict portal access to employees or members
