Mediation
Resolution Optimizer
The Resolution Optimizer is a multi-dimensional resolution workspace available in Professional and Enterprise tiers for both Vilulia Mediate and Vilulia Arbitrate. It goes beyond traditional blind bidding by allowing parties to confidentially submit priorities across every aspect of a dispute — compensation, timelines, behavioral commitments, confidentiality, and more — while AI finds settlement packages that maximize satisfaction for everyone.
What you'll learn
- How the multi-dimensional priority submission works
- How AI generates Pareto-optimal settlement packages
- How mediators control transparency and round progression
- Security and encryption of confidential submissions
Access requirements
The Resolution Optimizer requires the Professional or Enterprise plan. It is not available on Starter plans. The mediator or arbitrator controls the session, while parties submit priorities through the client portal.
Key capabilities
- Confidential multi-dimensional priority submission — Parties rank and weight priorities across multiple dimensions without revealing their preferences to the other side.
- AI-powered Pareto-optimal settlement packages — AI analyzes both parties' submissions to generate settlement packages where no party can be made better off without making the other worse off.
- Mediator-controlled progressive transparency — The mediator decides when and how much overlap information to reveal to the parties, maintaining strategic control over the negotiation.
- Iterative negotiation rounds with overlap detection — Multiple rounds allow parties to adjust priorities as the mediator reveals areas of agreement, narrowing the gap with each iteration.
- Works for monetary and non-monetary terms simultaneously — Unlike blind bidding (which only handles a single dollar amount), the Resolution Optimizer handles compensation, timelines, behavioral commitments, confidentiality terms, and any other dimension relevant to the dispute.
Security
All confidential party submissions are encrypted using AWS KMS encryption at rest. The mediator controls which information is shared and when. Raw priority data is never exposed to the opposing party — only the AI-generated packages and mediator-approved overlap summaries are shared.
